Hi! Our family was blessed enough to adopt Buck over the weekend. We have been together as a family for about a day and a half at this point and we have all fallen so in love with him He and our other kitty are still figuring each other out but things are going better than we anticipated! Thank you so much for helping us find the missing piece to our family!

Hi – I wanted to share an update and some with you of Chip and Milky, who are now Ralphie and Randi.  We adopted them on December 15th and we continue to fall more in love with them every day!

Because of these beautiful babies, I have seen a side of my 17 year old son that I wasn’t even sure was still there .  He loves them and he is so tender and sweet with them.  He spent hours and hours with me the first few days trying to get them to come out and get used to us.  He was so happy when they finally warmed up to him.

My husband retired from work on December 1st.  He has enjoyed watching the kitties play every day.  He emails me pictures of them and he tells me about their day when I get home from work.

It makes me so happy when they sit in my lap or lay in the chair with me.  Randi’s favorite thing is to have her head scratched.  Ralphie can’t stand to have his head touched,  Ralphie loves to lay in the hammock at the very top of their cat tree.  Randi likes to run up and down the tree.  They get two different kinds of treats – one kind when I get up in the morning and one kind when I get home from work.  They really love their treats!!  Randi will sleep in the bed with me some nights.  She likes to get under the covers and lay on my right side.  Bingo is usually under the covers on my left side.  It is a wonderful way to sleep!  Ralphie is not interested in getting in the bed so far, I’m hoping he will change his mind.

The babies are very fond of Bingo, my cocker spaniel.  They especially like to eat Bingo’s food.  He is the sweetest dog and he will stand there and let them eat his food.  (I know not to let them eat too much of the dog food, we keep an eye on it)  He is not crazy about them rubbing up against him, but he tolerates it.

Thank you so much for all that you do for the kitties and thank you so much for letting me and my family have these beautiful, sweet, funny, and precious little babies in our lives.

Thank you guys so, sooo much for connecting us with the newest member of our family, Gwinna (aka Chelsea), and for making the whole process so unbelievably quick and easy!!!
After our dog passed this year, our 3 y/o cat, Tully, just hadn't been the same; he clearly missed his friend and playmate. We hoped that bringing him a kitten would heal him, and that we'd bring a little more livelihood back to the house as well! Within 2 days, Gwinna and Tully were playing together, bathing each other, and snuggling like old friends--we still can't believe how much they adore each other! She's been exactly what we all needed, and we could not be happier (and ohmygoodness, that little bob-tail is the cutest thing ever! She definitely has an advantage over Tully; she loves to play with his tail, but he can't grab hers in return!).
You guys are amazing, and we so deeply appreciate the work that you do.
With love and gratitude,
Shawn and Jordana Van, Tully, and Gwinna

My husband and I just wanted to thank you guys (especially Josie, Kristen, and Beth) for bringing our new kitty, Gwinna (formerly Chelsea) into our lives. We love her so much, and our older kitty, Tully, has clearly found his new best friend--they are already playing and napping together. You guys made the process of meeting Gwinna and adopting her fun and easy from start to finish, and we can't thank you enough. With gratitude and blessings galore, Jordana and Shawn Van

We wanted to share pictures of our new babies, Ginny and June! They are the sweetest, snuggliest sisters and they are having the best time exploring their new home together. We are so glad we found them, and we are SO glad we have them BOTH! Thank you CatHeads Kitty Rescue for taking care of them (and for convincing my husband that two are better than one ;) )

Two weeks ago, we adopted Nellie from CatHeads Kitty Rescue Inc. We recently lost our 18 1/2 year old black cat, Silky, who was our son’s faithful companion for the last few years. Our son asked for another black cat that had a little bit of white on it...and Nellie was a perfect fit 🙂 We found a picture of her online and I called one of the volunteers at CatHeads to find out more about her. She sounded like just the right kitten for us! We were able to visit her at Poe’s Pet Depot and it was love at first sight for me and my son! We are so thankful that we were chosen to be Nellie’s furever family! Nellie has adapted well to her new home and her fur brothers and sisters (as you can see she’s claimed our dog’s bed as hers!). She purrs constantly, loves pets and belly rubs, loves to play, and snuggles with us when she’s not running around being a crazy kitten. She is absolutely precious and a perfect addition our family! Thank you to all the volunteers at CatHeads Kitty Rescue who took care of her before she joined our family
