Hi – I wanted to share an update and some with you of Chip and Milky, who are now Ralphie and Randi. We adopted them on December 15th and we continue to fall more in love with them every day!
Because of these beautiful babies, I have seen a side of my 17 year old son that I wasn’t even sure was still there . He loves them and he is so tender and sweet with them. He spent hours and hours with me the first few days trying to get them to come out and get used to us. He was so happy when they finally warmed up to him.
My husband retired from work on December 1st. He has enjoyed watching the kitties play every day. He emails me pictures of them and he tells me about their day when I get home from work.
It makes me so happy when they sit in my lap or lay in the chair with me. Randi’s favorite thing is to have her head scratched. Ralphie can’t stand to have his head touched, Ralphie loves to lay in the hammock at the very top of their cat tree. Randi likes to run up and down the tree. They get two different kinds of treats – one kind when I get up in the morning and one kind when I get home from work. They really love their treats!! Randi will sleep in the bed with me some nights. She likes to get under the covers and lay on my right side. Bingo is usually under the covers on my left side. It is a wonderful way to sleep! Ralphie is not interested in getting in the bed so far, I’m hoping he will change his mind.
The babies are very fond of Bingo, my cocker spaniel. They especially like to eat Bingo’s food. He is the sweetest dog and he will stand there and let them eat his food. (I know not to let them eat too much of the dog food, we keep an eye on it) He is not crazy about them rubbing up against him, but he tolerates it.
Thank you so much for all that you do for the kitties and thank you so much for letting me and my family have these beautiful, sweet, funny, and precious little babies in our lives.
