Josee was so helpful, and answered all of our questions. It is clear that they care very much for the kittens and cats in their rescue, and only want the best for them.

If you want to move on, then you need to set some boundaries. You cannot just forget, you need to go and make a constant effort to avoid. It is not like you are the bad person, you just want what is best for you. If you want to completely move on from her, then go and do this. You have to realize that life is all about finding inner peace, and that requires a lot of work, my friend.
